This is Bobby's favorite joke/punchline. According to Bobby, it doesn't matter whether we know if we are having a boy or a girl because the baby is still going to poop, eat and cry. This makes me smile.
When we found out we were pregnant in March we decided almost immediately to keep baby's gender a surprise for everyone. That means we don't know what we are having and neither does our family, friends or acquaintances. Only one person knows: our ultrasound technician. And she isn't talking (nor did she write it down anywhere).
We have gotten both "cheers" and "jeers" for this decision but we have stuck to our guns. I even took someone to the one ultrasound scan that Bobby couldn't come too. Yes, I was being super strong in my convictions, and I was positive I would cave and find out without a positive support person.
So at 29 weeks and 5 days (and counting): we still don't know what we are having. We are planning for a gender neutral baby and baby showers. We have decorated the nursery in brown, green and yellow with a Safari theme.
